TRAM – Fall Protection

Falls Are A Thing Of The Past With TRAM

A unique height safety system that allows your operators to work at height with confidence

Our unique system is simple to use, provides the operator with full mobility, and simply prevents falls. Other height safety systems will arrest a free fall but they expose the user to potential suspension trauma or the risk of hitting obstacles while falling. Any reportable injury on the job is a bad injury and Standfast TRAM is dedicated to helping companies preventing falls on the job.

There have been no fatalities or injuries reported by organizations using TRAM

We are proud of the legacy we're building in the safety industry preventing falls, injuries and fatalities related to necessary height work. With TRAM your drivers and operators can confidently navigate the most difficult parts of the job.

Stability, Mobility and Restraint

This is what you are buying with a TRAM. The arm raises and lowers with the assistance of a gas strut which significantly aids the user when transitioning access from the ladder to the platform. The same assist from the gas strut works when changing between standing and squatting positions while working. The arm acts as a moving handhold, providing stability for the user on the platform. Standfast recommends using a harness while operating a TRAM, this creates a complete fall prevention system with the operator being unable to fall. The harness is not required while using a TRAM but is recommended. There are certain states and industries that require that a full body harness or belt be used in conjunction with the TRAM system. If there is any question about your application requirement please contact our customer service.

With our exclusive TRAM system, you get:

  • Heavy duty SS equipment that requires very little maintenance and not subject to potential pneumatic or electronic malfunctions
  • A product with over 25,000 in active service
  • A cost effective solution to fall prevention
  • Brings compliance with companies that require safety equipment while onsite
  • Installation and cost of ownership of TRAM far outweighs pneumatic or mechanical handrail systems
